We all benefit from your generosity and the generosity of so many people who contribute to the Benefit Fund. There will never be enough words and there will never be a way to convey my thoughts.

On behalf of my mother, I want to thank you again for your continued generosity. My mother is now 93 years old and next month will be the 50th anniversary of my father's death in 1956. We truly appreciate the recognition, as well as, financial help.

You have changed my life. I am a PAPD widow from 1980, we buried my husband on Christmas Eve, he was 32 years old. In those days there were no scholarships and the aid was very limited. I have poured my whole heart and my whole financial setup to raise my family. In turn, they have turned out to be the most wonderful and most appreciative family any mother could possibly ask for. In the most recent years, your annual checks have allowed me to enjoy my life a little more comfortably after all those years of being the sole supporter of everyday needs, expenses, college etc. It would take many thankful tears to let you know just what your organization and its contributors have done for me and my family. You all will forever be in my prayers.

My son and I would like to thank you for your generosity and assistance. We are so grateful for this help. My husband, worked for the FDNY for 24 years before his line of duty death. He was a Lieutenant with the EMS division. His happiest days were working at Station 23 and he was very proud to be part of the FDNY - and we were so proud of him. Thank you for remembering us.

It is most reassuring to have your organization rally to our cause, year after year. This past September 11th, was my 30th anniversary as a Police widow, and although I have gone on with my life, there is always a void for me, my sons and now my grandchildren. Your consideration renews my faith and lets me know I have not been forgotten.

I would have been married 47 years. He is gone 19 years and there isn't a day I don't think of him. God Bless you all for every thing you do for me. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your help.
