Our Prayers are with Rusty

“Rusty is a beloved, revered and larger than life figure at  the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund. He is held in the highest esteem by our Board as well as the widows, widowers and children of fallen first responders whom we have served for decades. Our prayers are with Rusty as he continues to battle to overcome his current health challenges. I would ask all to respect his privacy and pray for his recovery.”

-Stephen Dannhauser, Chairman of the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund

I met Rusty Staub several times at the Met Picnic for the NY Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Fund. A real gentleman and always took the time for the kids. Rusty “Daniel” Staub is someone kids can look up to. I know for the past several years he has had health issues. Prayers being said for his recovery! Thank you for caring, we care for you too and want to see you again signing autographs at this year’s picnic.
