A pillar of strength and compassion for New York City for nearly 60 years, Rabbi Kass dedicated his life to supporting first responders and their families with faith, dignity, and unwavering care.
He was a cherished friend of our organization since its founding in 1985 offering guidance, compassion, and spiritual support to the families we serve. His presence brought comfort and strength to so many during times of loss, and his guidance and support have been an enduring source of inspiration to our entire community.
Rabbi Kass’s passing is a profound loss—not only for our organization but for all who were touched by his kindness and leadership. We will forever be grateful for his friendship, his wisdom, and his lifelong commitment to serving others.
