How Donations are Used
Your donations enable us to provide financial assistance and a network of support to the families of our fallen first responders.
When there is a line of duty death, we immediately provide the family with $25,000. For the rest of each widow or widower’s life, we provide him or her with annual stipends and invite them to special events where they can meet other families and supporters.
We don’t put restrictions on the ways that our families can use the financial assistance that we provide. We leave it up to them to determine what would best serve their family’s needs. Some families use the financial assistance for necessities like groceries and bills. Others use this assistance to help pay for their children’s college tuition and other larger expenses. While each family may use the financial assistance differently, rest assured your contribution is making a difference in the lives of these incredible families.
