The Investment and Audit Committees are comprised of exceptional volunteers who dedicate a substantial amount of time and talents to our organization to ensure it continues to succeed in its mission to support the families of our fallen NYC first responders.
The Investment Committee assists the Board of Directors in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities relating to fiscal management. They oversee the management of organization-wide financial assets, review investment policies and strategies, review financial results, and ensure the maintenance of an appropriate asset allocation structure.

The Audit Committee assists the Board of Directors in fulfilling its responsibility to provide oversight regarding the Benefit Fund’s system of internal controls and risk mitigation.
More specifically, they monitor the integrity of our financial statements, our accounting and financial reporting processes, our compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and ethical standards, and the engagement, independence, and performance of our independent auditors.
