A corporate matching gift is an easy way to increase the impact of a personal contribution to support our mission. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs to match charitable contributions made by their employees. You can double or even triple your gift if you work for a company that will match your gift. Gifts from retirees and spouses may also qualify for a match. It’s important to know that donating through workplace giving campaigns and payroll deductions as well as the tax-deductible portion of an event ticket may all be eligible for a corporate match.
Here’s how to make a matching gift:
- Ask your human resources department about your company’s matching gift policy.
- If your company has a matching gift program, obtain a matching gift form from your employer and send the completed form with your donation to us at the below physical or email address. All checks should be made payable to “N.Y. Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund” or “Answer the Call.”
