Thomas began running seriously about six months ago after spending years playing sports throughout high school. Since then, he has completed the Brooklyn Half Marathon and a 10-mile race, and is now preparing for his next challenge.
For Thomas, motivation comes naturally once he gets moving. He sees running as an opportunity to build discipline, push himself beyond his limits, and improve his overall fitness – all while supporting a meaningful cause.
When he’s not training, Thomas enjoys beach trips, fishing, watching sports, and spending time with friends. His music taste on runs ranges from rap and hip-hop to classic rock, and after a run, he’s usually reaching for an ice pop or whatever food is nearby.
As he trains for the marathon, Thomas expects balancing work and training to be his biggest challenge. Despite that, he’s ready to take on the journey solo and continue challenging himself every step of the way.
