Your privacy is important to us. This notice explains the online information practices of the N.Y. Police and Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund, Inc. (dba Answer the Call). This privacy notice is available on Answer the Call’s homepage and on all other pages of the site.

Information Collected

Answer the Call’s server automatically recognizes, but does not collect or use your domain name (IP address). We do not collect individual information about you or your use of this site. Answer the Call also does not use cookies (a cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive).

Occasionally, Answer the Call may send a solicitation to individuals who previously have donated funds to Answer the Call or to potential new donors. To the extent Answer the Call sends such solicitation materials, Answer the Call will provide an “opt-out” mechanism, at least one time annually, for those donors who do not want to receive any additional information or other materials from Answer the Call. Any personally identifiable information that a donor may provide us is used to acknowledge receipt of such donor’s donation for tax purposes and to include the donor in the Answer the Call’s records. Answer the Call will not share any personal information outside of the organization.

Answer the Call does not sell, rent, or trade consumer mailing lists.
