Kate is looking forward to running her first New York City Marathon on Team Answer the Call this November! Growing up, running was a way for Kate to get involved in her community and stay active. Now, she trains with a few friends for the New York City Marathon which has been the highlight of her training process. 
Although Kate is not running for anyone in the first responder community, she is honored to be able to raise money for the families of fallen first responders, as she greatly appreciates their bravery in keeping New York City safe every day. Kate volunteered at her first Answer the Call event three years ago after hearing about the organization through a mutual friend. Since then, she has volunteered at a dozen events.
We are thrilled to have Kate running on Team Answer the Call and look forward to seeing her at our future events!
