Kristina, a lifelong athlete, has always made running a part of her life, especially while training to play college lacrosse. Her passion for running grew over the years, leading her to complete a marathon in Nashville. Now, she’s getting ready for her first New York City Marathon with Team Answer the Call. She was introduced to the organization by a friend and was inspired to support families of fallen first responders.
This summer marks Kristina’s first time training for a marathon in the heat, which she finds challenging but has enjoyed the experience, especially since she gets to train alongside her brother who will also be running the New York City Marathon.
We are excited to have Kristina as part of Team Answer the Call as she takes on her first New York City Marathon!
