Patrick’s passion for Answer the Call is rooted in his family’s legacy of service with the NYPD, including his grandfather, mother, and brother. After joining the organization’s Associate Committee, he’s witnessed firsthand the positive impact it has on the families of fallen first responders.
As he trains for the upcoming marathon, he’s finding a growing love for his runs, despite the challenges of summer humidity. Although this will be Patrick’s first full marathon, he ran the New York City Half Marathon with Team Answer the Call two years ago and is excited to reunite with some familiar faces.
“Coming from a long family history of NYPD officers, we definitely appreciate what this organization does for frontline workers, and any little bit we can do to help really means a lot,” Patrick shares.
