FDNY Lieutenant Brian J. Sullivan
We join all of New York City in mourning the loss of FDNY Lieutenant Brian J. Sullivan. Lieutenant Sullivan died this weekend from injuries sustained in the line of duty. A true hero, Lieutenant Sullivan bravely served in the FDNY as a 27-year veteran of the department.
We send our sincere condolences to Lieutenant Sullivan’s grieving family, Squad Company 41, and the entire FDNY community. All of New York City shares in this devastating loss and we vow to never forget the heroism and sacrifice of Lieutenant Sullivan.
Lieutenant Sullivan leaves behind a wife and two daughters. We will provide immediate support of $25,000 to his family and then aim to provide annual financial assistance to his widow for the rest of her life.
